The Bloom's Museum was inspired by Patrick Hawbecker's Contemporary Studio class assignment.  Challenged to think Meta-cognitively about his own artist processes by Professor Richard Armendariz, Hawbecker sought form from the educational theorists from his education classes.  Finding Behance, Hawbecker enjoyed displaying the work on the eternalising internet in all its mundanity.  John Dewey and Benjamin Bloom gave shape to the work as he questioned the themes of meaning, value, presentation, copying and dichotomy.  Using professional artists', student artists', and his own work, the final piece appears to be a jumbled mess in a unkempt backyard.  This, and the title, echo the themes of Claes Oldenburg's "Mouse Museum".

Hawbecker would also like to thank other inspirations including, but not limited to, The Guerrilla Girls, Louise Lawler, Andrea Fraser, Sherrie Levine, Fred Wilson, and The Authentic artists.
